The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign announced Monday that it will open a new campus in Bloomington, Indiana.
The campus, at 3,600 square feet, will be the first of its kind in the country and the fourth in the state, according to a press release from the university.
The first campus opened in 1997.
In addition to the gardeners, the university expects to attract about 300 faculty members and staff.
The university is looking for qualified students, and the average entry-level salary is $47,824, according the release.
