The Victoria Gardens restaurant chain is adding more locations to its roster of restaurants, including one at a former home of the famed jazz singer Jackie Robinson.
The restaurant will be the first of a planned wave of restaurants to open in the iconic site of the World Trade Center, the new owner said on Friday.
The Victoria Gardens franchise, which opened in 2004, is also adding restaurants at locations in New York and Los Angeles.
Victoria Gardens is a joint venture between The George Washington Hotel and The George Street Hotel.
The company was founded by former NBA player and owner of the Washington Bullets, George Washington, in 2000.
The chain has more than 8,500 restaurants in the United States and Canada.
The new Victoria Garden restaurants will open later this year.
