GreenStreetGarden of the gods, the world’s largest green space, is celebrating its 100th anniversary today.
The space, a 15-acre space in Brooklyn, New York, has been in the works for almost 50 years, with its origins largely as a place to grow flowers and greens, according to GreenStreet.
Its creator, the late Charles Green, was an ardent gardener and was a pioneer in his own way.
“Greenstreet Garden of The Gods was created as an homage to the beauty and simplicity of the land, and to the many different forms of living that thrive on the Earth’s natural resources,” the Garden’s website reads.
“Greenstreet is the only natural green space in the world with an open-air garden.
It’s an open space, which is why we have a garden of the world of the living.”
For centuries, the Garden was a hub for gardens, with artists, craftsmen and craftsmen’s associations gathering to discuss the art of gardening, which involved planting, watering and tending plants.
The garden’s popularity exploded in the 1960s and 1970s, and in the 1980s, the GreenStreet garden was expanded to include a permanent exhibit of green crafts and creations.
In recent years, it has grown in size to the point where it now occupies its own private space.
As of last summer, Greenstreet had an annual capacity of just under 500,000 visitors, with visitors spending an average of $35,000 on a visit to the Garden.
Its annual revenue reached $9.6 million, which was $2.2 million more than last year, according the Garden website.
With the Garden now closed, the space will be put to a permanent, open-ended use.
Greenstreet also announced plans to open a garden showroom, and plans to hold a celebration of the space, featuring a food truck, a craft fair, a farmers market, live music, and live performances by local musicians.
For the past few years, the city has been looking to turn the Garden into a permanent home for homeless people, who have been living in and around the area since it opened.
According to a New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) report, homelessness rates in New York have doubled since 2014.
There are currently 7,852 people sleeping in shelters in New Yorks shelters, and the number of people living in temporary shelters and other transitional housing is growing, according DHS.
This year, GreenStreet Garden will open its doors for a “dinner party,” with more than 200 people expected to gather at the space.
Greenstreet hopes to turn around this year’s event by hosting a “green street party” to celebrate the Garden and its growing number of visitors, Green Street Garden’s marketing manager, David Ziegler, told CNN.
And it’s not just the Garden that is looking to celebrate its 100-year anniversary.
A special edition of “The Greenstreet Garden Hour” is scheduled to air on the Greenstreet.com network on July 7 at 9 p.m.
ET, featuring guests who will share their stories of Greenstreet gardening.
GreenStreet Garden of THE Gods will celebrate its first anniversary today at 10 a.m., with special guests including actor John Krasinski, the actor’s wife, and actor David Spade.
